The film is written by Paragas, Annie Howell and Celena Cipriaso based on a story by Paragas and Andy Bienen. The film is produced by Paragas, Cecilia R. Mejia, Rey Cuerdo and Orian Williams. Executive Producers are Olivia De Jesus and Karen Elizaga. Yellow Rose is now streaming on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, Cignal PPV and Sky Cable PPV in the Philippines; is available on demand, Blu-ray and DVD.

Noblezada is featured on Backstage.com’s 51 Leading Film Actors Who Deserve to Win at the 2021 SAG Awards List for her feature film debut as a talented singer and undocumented Filipina whose mother is taken away by ICE.
“Noblezada wears her heart on her sleeve in Diane Paragas’ searing ode to—and diatribe against—the American dream. As Rose Garcia, a Texas teen and aspiring songwriter whose mother (Princess Punzalan) is deported back to the Philippines, she channels that heart into country music. Broadway audiences have heard firsthand how the actor infuses her every note with palpable emotion; that skill is no less felt onscreen.”

In addition to Noblezada, the Backstage.com: Backstage Picks: The Leading Film Performances That Got Us Through 2020 list includes Amy Adams, Radha Blank, Rachel Brosnahan, Carrie Coon, Viola Davis, Andra Day, Clare Dunne, Sidney Flanigan, Julia Garner, Yeri Han, Rashida Jones, Vanessa Kirby, Sophia Loren, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Frances McDormand, Cristin Milioti, Sienna Miller, Elisabeth Moss, Carey Mulligan, Michelle Pfeiffer, Margot Robbie, Meryl Streep, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet, Robin Wright, and Zendaya.
