Olivier Award winner and everyone’s favorite Broadway Diva, Lesli Margherita kicks off the Theater People Podcast Summer series on Sunday May 8th at 6pm at Pearl Studios, 500 8th ave, 12th Floor Room 1214 in New York. Doors open at 5pm.

Patrick Hinds is a fantastic force of nature. A true theater enthusiast, he has seen more shows on and off Broadway than most who make it their career to do so. In attempt to do the same, the Theater People podcast was born. The person you always want at a party, Patrick’s energy and joy is infectious. Patrick is the author of two books, The Whole World Was Watching and The Q Guide to NYC Pride, and he lives in Upper, Upper Manhattan with his husband and two cats.
Mike Jensen received the Kennedy Center ACTF Sound Design Award for his work on the play Vanities. His design work in New York includes Open Your Eyes, which was part of the 2008 Fringe Festival and A Is For Abortion, part of the 2013 Fringe Festival. Lia Chang is an actor, a multi-media content producer and co-founder of Bev’s Girl Films, making films that foster inclusion and diversity on both sides of the camera. Bev’s Girl Films’ debut short film, Hide and Seek was a top ten film in the Asian American Film Lab’s 2015 72 Hour Shootout Filmmaking Competition, and she received a Best Actress nomination. BGF collaborates with and produces multi-media content for artists, actors, designers, theatrical productions, composers, musicians and corporations. Lia is also an internationally published and exhibited photographer, a multi-platform journalist, and a publicist. Lia has appeared in the films Wolf, New Jack City, A Kiss Before Dying, King of New York, Big Trouble in Little China, The Last Dragon, Taxman and Hide and Seek.
